Thema |
Adoption as a policy for the improvement of the
situation of children in foster care |
|
|
Kurze Inhaltsangabe |
This workshop will examine
the current status of children in foster care in the United States and the
current policy emphasis on adoption for these children. The implications for
the future will be considered: the impact of a focus on adoption on children
and their birth families; the new demands on agencies to recruit and prepare
adoptive families; and the growing need for post-adoption services. |
